Pass the parcel turned into a charity craft project by parcel locker service, InPost

InPost UK, the innovative send, collect and return parcel locker service, donated £1,000 and two bespoke crafted quilts to Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity, which supports families caring for a seriously ill child.

The stunning quilts have been on a cross-county journey across hundreds of miles, as eighteen arts and crafts bloggers each created a 12”x12” square, growing the two patchworks before using InPost Parcel Lockers to send the creations on to the next blogger in a #CraftTheParcel chain.

Sections of the hand-made patchwork quilts display a high-standard of techniques such as appliqué, embroidery, canvas printing and quilting. Talented bloggers including Capture by Lucy, The Ginger Bread House and Little Button Diaries designed, created and then despatched the ever-growing precious package on the next leg of its journey via InPost’s 1,000 lockers, where parcels can be dropped off or picked up any time of day or night.

The project began in October and on completion of the unique designs this month, InPost and the talented team of craft bloggers are delighted to see the finished quilts and £1,000 donated to Rainbow Trust, which will help the charity support families with children with life threatening or terminal illnesses.
