September 24th: As a global leader in automated parcel machines, InPost facilitates e-commerce by providing consumers with a 24/7 self-service parcel collection solution. InPost’s achievements have been recognised for a second consecutive year at the industry’s leading international event- at Post-Expo 2014 InPost won not only ‘Supplier of the Year’, but also received accolades from representatives of major international companies including DHL, Royal Mail and SingPost for its dynamic worldwide expansion, partnerships with local postal companies and contribution to sector innovation.
The ‘Supplier of the Year’ award recognises a company’s outstanding contribution to the sector and is one of the most respected categories presented at Post-Expo by Postal Technology International, the postal sector magazine. InPost competed and won with companies including: Dutch Vanderlande Industries, Austrian Keba and Danish Crisplant.
Post-Expo is the world’s leading event for the postal, courier and express industries. In addition to showcasing new products, services and technologies, 3,500 representatives from the management of the world’s largest companies participate in conferences and debates dedicated to the development of services. This year, Rafał Brzoska, CEO of InPost, presented to attendees ‘Beyond the Borders of Traditional Logistics: Discovering New Revenue Streams’- highlighting the importance of innovation in parcel delivery, particularly in cross-border delivery.
The exhibition is one of the most influential forums for the selection of suppliers to postal and parcel operators across the globe, providing an unrivalled opportunity for attendees to see and experience the very latest innovations. From automation solutions and retail services, to delivery vehicles and tracking solutions, visitors find that the exhibition always has something new to discover, with many companies using the exhibition as a platform to launch new products, services and technologies. InPost’s stand successfully presented the latest solutions for click&collect automated parcel machines. The event also provided the opportunity for the Integer.pl Group to promote its solution in Scandinavia, where its launch is imminent.
“This is another Post-Expo success- last year InPost won ‘Retail Innovation of the Year’ in Vienna. Winning such a prestigious award is especially important to us- it reaffirms the high quality and functionality of our already globally popular service. InPost is the leading innovator in self-service terminals, the perfect solution for e-commerce. We have a responsibility to live up to our title and our next steps will leave no doubts about our leadership in the market.”, commented Rafal Brzoska, CEO of InPost.
‘Supplier of the Year’ is not the first prestigious award for the Integer.pl Group, the owner and operator of InPost’s automated parcel machines. InPost’s excellence in service and innovation have been recognised by the ‘The Delivery Excellence Award 2014’ and in the ‘Best Carrier Contribution to Delivery Innovation’ category in Great Britain earlier this year. Furthermore, InPost has been awarded four times in the international World Mail Awards: in 2013 for ‘Customer service’, in the ‘e-Commerce’ and ‘Innovation’ categories in 2011, and in 2010 in the ‘Growth’ category.
The international InPost automated parcel machine network is the largest of its kind in the world and enables the dispatch and collection of parcels, with ease from convenient locations. The network ensures the highest quality logistics for online purchases. ‘Tailor-made’ InPost solutions are already operational on 22 international markets: Australia, Chile, Great Britain, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, France, Malaysia, Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine, Estonia, Poland, Russia, Cyprus, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Saudi Arabia, Columbia, Costa Rica, El Salvador and Guatemala.
