Return to sender explained
Parcel on it's way back to you? Here's a run-down of our processes.

Why was my parcel returned?

There are a few reasons why a parcel will be returned to the sender:

It didn't get picked up

Receivers have 72 hours to pick up their parcels, after this they will be returned to the sender - we will always give them a 24-hour warning

It couldn't be delivered

There might be complications with the location (i.e. roadworks) or the delivery address was missing information

Nobody was home to accept it

If a parcel is being sent to a home address, the receiver may have been out & about, or the parcel was refused so we have to send it back

How does 'return to sender' work?

If we can’t deliver the parcel you’ve sent, don’t worry - here’s what will happen next. Keep an eye on your email for all the details and updates.

The parcel can't be delivered

If the parcel cannot be delivered to the destination, we will send it back to your return address

We will deliver to your address

We will try to deliver your parcel back to your sender address. We will attempt multiple times if you don't answer the door.

We'll leave it at the delivery office

If you aren't available for the return delivery, we'll take your parcel to the Delivery Office and drop off a slip with more details
