When your delivery lands in an InPost Locker, you've got 3 days (that's 72 hours) to collect it. No delivery windows, no waiting in, no spooky surprises. Just you, your collection code and a locker that's open around the clock. 

But beware! Those 3 days can disappear faster than a cat in the night. So, before your parcel vanishes back to where it came from, here's everything you need to know to keep your collection plans from turning into a Halloween horror story. 

Why the 3-day countdown? ⏳ 

InPost Lockers are busy little monsters. With hundreds of thousands of parcels on the move across the UK every day, we need to keep things ticking along so there's always space for the next parcel to check in. 

That's where the 3-day collection window comes in. It helps keep our lockers available for everyone, so parcels can come and go without getting stuck in a never-ending haunted house. 

Think of it as a friendly little nudge from your parcel. It's here, it's ready, and it's dying to see you. 💛 

Can't make it? Send in your ghostbusters! 🦇 

Life happens. Maybe you're away, buried under work, or just can't face another trip out. No need to panic or summon the spirits! 

You don't have to collect your parcel yourself. Simply share your collection code with a trusted friend or family member, and they can pick it up for you. 

Same QR code, different human. Parcel rescued. Crisis averted. Everyone lives happily ever after. 

Just make sure you're sharing your collection details with someone you trust. We don't want your parcel falling into the wrong hands… 

Can you extend the collection window? 🎃 

We'd love to wave a magic wand and give you extra time, but unfortunately, we're not able to extend the collection window for individual parcels just yet (we’re working on it). 

Our courier partners visit lockers daily to keep parcels moving, so we can't hold onto a parcel for longer on a case-by-case basis. 

If your 3 days are nearly up, don't wait for a miracle. Share your collection code with someone who can help, pronto! 

What happens if you miss the deadline? 💀 

Here's the bit we'd rather not scare you with… 

If your 3 days are up and nobody's collected your parcel, it'll be removed from the locker and returned to the sender. Spooky, right? 

Once it's on its way back, you'll need to contact the retailer directly to arrange a redelivery or refund. That's one haunting we'd all rather avoid. 

But don't give up the ghost just yet! If your collection window has passed and you can still get to the locker quickly, your parcel may still be there until our courier collects it. So, if you can get there before they do, you might just save the day. 

Of course, there's no guarantee it'll still be waiting, so don't make a habit of playing parcel roulette. 👀
