Call us theatrical, but that’s how we imagined that conversation. A new feature that’s app-solutely (ahem) great. Anyway, on with the show...
What’s new in the app?
You can name your parcels.
Any object, name, number, collection of vowels or syllables, it’s completely up to you. Whatever will help you to identify the parcels that you’re sending and/or receiving.
Whether it’s “Jazzy red trousers”, “Thank god it’s gone”, or “I deserve this”, if it’s under 20 characters you can call it anything. And don’t worry, only you can see the names. Your buyer/seller will have option to give the parcel their own nickname.
Why is this useful?
Use the app to keep tabs on where your parcels are, and which one is which with easily identifiable names.
We know that lots of our users send multiple parcels at a time and sometimes it can get confusing. This feature has been designed to make sending parcels in bulk easier than ever. That, and it’s amusing to give your parcels names.
What else can I do in the app?
- Check compartment size availability Find your closest lockers and shops and check for space. The app will show you which small, medium and large compartments are available at your nearby lockers. Make sure you know before you go by checking for availability before heading out.
- Remote opening One of our favourite features – go contactless with your collection. Skip ahead with remote opening. If you're picking up a parcel, there's no need to use the screen. If you're within 10 metres of the locker you can open the compartment door from your phone. And trust us, it’s super fun.
- Track everything, anywhere Keep track of all your InPost parcels in one handy place and follow them from A to B. We’ll send you updates along the way and send your deets straight to your app.
- Get instant updates Who doesn’t love receiving the news that their parcel has arrived? Get notifications from us to tell you where your parcels are and when they’re ready for you to swing by. You can track all the details straight from the palm of your hand.
What do I use InPost for?

Return your unwanted parcels when and where it works for you. We have thousands of handy locations, and all our lockers are 24/7 which means you can drop your parcels off where and when it suits you. No more pesky post office opening times.
Send your Vinted parcels. If you need to send your parcels, why not try one of our many lockers and shops (buyer dependent – check your instructions). We have them all around the country and you can use any of our locations. You drop it, we’ll sort it.
Collect your online orders. If you’ve treated to yourself to something online (which we encourage btw) why not send it to one of our lockers and shops? If you’re at work, we understand that there’s nothing worse than the stress of missing your home deliveries. Pick up with InPost before or after work at a location that works for you.
