Selling on eBay with InPost

Switch on eBay Simple Delivery for your listing, and buyers can choose InPost at checkout. When your item sells, and InPost is selected, you’ll be able to create your print-free shipping label straight from eBay - simple as that.

Please note: InPost availability depends on the item being eligible for eBay Simple Delivery.

InPost labels explained

No labels, no printer, no stress - all you need is a QR code & you're set

Our labels are QR codes, which means you don't have to print anything. We’ll send a copy straight to your email inbox. Simply scan the code at any of our lockers with available space, and a compartment will pop open for you. You'll also receive a 6-digit drop-off code if you would prefer to type the number on the screen.

Sending more than one parcel? We recommend marking each parcel with something recognisable or writing the 9-digit access code on the side so they’re easy to tell apart. And remember: one parcel per compartment!

What's next?

If we have your email address, we'll automatically send you a confirmation after you drop off your parcel. Your email is your proof of delivery. If we don't have your email address, then we'll give you the option on the locker screen to request a receipt. Missed it? No problem – you can still request one here.

Marketplace & Returns parcels The locker will give you the option to select your compartment size on the screen. Please pop your parcel in the smallest compartment size available that your parcel comfortably fits in - never force it in! If only medium or large ones are free, no worries - you can use one of those without any extra charges. Just check the app to see what's available.

Sending with the InPost app If you've bought a digital label from the InPost app you will have already chosen your compartment size. This means the compartment will open right away, and you won't be able to change it at the locker. If you've picked a parcel that's too small, you'll need to cancel your label in the app and purchase a new one.

Not yet – we only ship to mainland UK (but we’re working on it).

Returning

Returns parcels should be back with the retailer within 5 working days, safe and sound. But some stores may take a little bit longer to let you know they’ve got it and process your return. Feel free to get in touch with them if you’ve got any questions about your refund.

Sending

If you're sending a parcel to an InPost Locker or Shop then it should arrive within 3 working days. If you're sending a parcel to a home address then it should arrive within 4 working days. You can keep an eye on your parcel's journey using our handy tracking page.

Collecting

Delivery time will vary depending on which store you've bought from. Keep tabs on your parcel's progress by downloading the app.

First thing’s first – strong tape to make sure it’s securely sealed. If you’re reusing old packaging, take off or cover up any old labels or barcodes. Take a look at all of our packaging dos and don’ts here.

Yep! Jump into the 'Find a locker' screen and tap on the locker. You'll find information on how much space is available and what size compartments are currently free. Our map will show you other locations if your closest locker is full.
