How to sell on Vinted | Shipping with InPost

You sell it we send it

Selling on Vinted? Easy! Once your buyer picks InPost delivery, you can create your shipping label straight from the Vinted app.

First things first

Turn on postage options in the Vinted app. Go to Profile > Settings > Postage and switch on InPost.

To print or not to print?

This depends on which delivery option your buyer chooses.  

You can generate a digital label (you do not need to print this) or a printable label (you will need to print this). 

24/7 InPost Locker | Shop Pick-up 

For parcels going to an InPost Locker or Shop, you can choose a printable label to attach at home or a digital label (QR code) to scan at the locker - no need to print anything with the digital option.

InPost Home Delivery 

For parcels being delivered to someone’s house, you’ve got one option – print a label at home and attach it to the parcel. We can’t create digital labels for home deliveries just yet. 

Don't have a printer? You can turn off postage options in the Vinted app. Go to Profile > Settings > Postage and switch off “InPost Home Delivery”.

Pack it up, pack it in

Once your parcel is packaged up safely, you can use any of our lockers or shops with available space

We've got lots & lots of lockers up and down the country, you can drop off at any of them that work for you

Pop

The door will open for you to place your parcel inside

Shut

Shut the door and press "I'm finished" on the screen

Remember, 1 parcel per compartment!

Please only put one parcel in each locker compartment. Check for space before you head to lockers.

Dropping off at an InPost Shop

Prefer to use a shop? No problem, use your local InPost Shop.

Firstly, check which option your buyer has chosen:

24/7 InPost Locker | Shop Pick-up

For parcels heading to an InPost Locker or Shop, you’ve got two options. You can select a printable label (which you’ll need to print at home and attach to the parcel) or a digital label (which is a QR code that you scan at the locker – then all you need to do is pop the parcel inside and leave the label to us).

InPost Home Delivery

For parcels being delivered to someone’s house, you’ve got one option – print a label at home and attach it to the parcel. We can’t create digital labels for home deliveries just yet. 

Don't have a printer? You can turn off postage options in the Vinted app. Go to profile > settings > postage and switch off “InPost Home Delivery”. 

If you have the InPost App

Your pick-up details will be available in the app. Go to Tracking → Receiving to see your parcel info.

You can use Remote Opening to collect your parcel. The app will open the locker for you, no PIN or QR code needed - of course, you can use these if you prefer.

You'll also receive an email from us with all your collection deets - check your junk folder if you didn't hear anything.

If you don’t have the app

You’ll receive your collection code by email and SMS. We send the SMS to the phone number you gave to the retailer or marketplace, so it’s always a good idea to check your account details are up to date. If you haven’t received an email, make sure you check your spam or junk mail folders.

Once your parcel has been delivered to your locker, we’ll send you a notification in our app. We will also send you your collection code and instructions via email and text.  

You can pick up your parcel by scanning your QR code or popping in your phone number (remember to leave off the first 0) and collection code. Simple. 

You’ll have three days to pick up your parcel once it’s delivered. We’ll send you a reminder when there are 24 hours left – and send it back to the seller if it’s not collected in time.

We’ll send you a notification in our app. We will also send you an email and text with collection instructions when your parcel arrives in store. To pick it up you can show your QR code or give them the tracking number and collection code.  

You’ll have three days to pick up your parcel once it’s delivered. We’ll send you a reminder when there’s 1 day left – and send it back to the seller if it’s not collected in time.

All you need to do is edit your postage settings on the Vinted app. Visit Profile > Settings > Postage and switch on "InPost Home Delivery" and "24/7 InPost Locker | Shop Pick Up" – easy peasy.
